Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a lovely 2 form entry Primary School in the North Bristol area.

The successful candidate will have experience working closely with children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), and will be able to provide high-quality support to pupils in a 1:1 and small group setting.

The school strives to provide an inclusive learning environment that promotes high ambition and self-belief in all children. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively with the Class Teacher and other staff members to ensure excellence in teaching and all areas of the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver intervention workshops with small groups of children
  • Support children with SEN needs following their EHCPs
  • Communicate clearly with the Class Teacher about specific needs
  • Work collaboratively with the SENDCo to gain knowledge of how to support pupils
