Job Title: Multi-Trade Mobile Service Technician

Job Description:

This is a remote position that requires a skilled Multi-Trade Mobile Service Technician to support clients' various contracts in and around London.

The successful candidate will be required to maintain and repair ventilation and air-conditioning systems and equipment, undertake PPM, servicing and repair works across various contracts, and attend callouts during normal working hours and be part of the out-of-hours emergency callout rota.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of HVAC plant, boilers, controls, heating and cooling systems, and ventilation, as well as City & Guilds in Mechanical engineering or equivalent, and time served mechanical / maintenance engineer.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £44k Depending on Experience, 25 days holiday (not including bank holidays), pension scheme after 3 full months service, and overtime available but not guaranteed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair ventilation and air-conditioning systems and equipment;
  • Undertake PPM, servicing and repair works across various contracts;
  • Attend callouts during normal working hours and be part of the out-of-hours emergency callout rota;
  • Troubleshoot issues with a system as they are identified;
  • Conduct performance tests with specialist tools and make adjustments as necessary;
  • Wear relevant company issued PPE and clothing;
  • Submit clear and concise service reports and timesheets;

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of HVAC plant;
  • Knowledge and experience of boilers, controls, heating and cooling systems, and ventilation;
  • Knowledge of Legionella and overall health and safety;
  • City & Guilds in Mechanical engineering or equivalent;
  • Time served mechanical / maintenance engineer;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Self-motivated with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills;
