About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team at Orion Electrotech, a rapidly expanding clean tech company dedicated to developing sustainable and eco-friendly solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure production efficiency, quality, safety, and consistency
  • Implement Lean manufacturing principles and best practices to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and increase efficiency
  • Develop and maintain production schedules, coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to optimize inventory and resource utilization
  • Oversee maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment, ensuring machinery operates efficiently and safely
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures, investigate production issues, and resolve them with corrective actions
  • Develop work instructions and SOPs, provide training and technical support to production staff, and advise on best practices
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to transition new products from development to production, document processes, and implement line layouts
  • Promote safety by adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies, conduct risk assessments, and implement hazard mitigation measures
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality
  • Evaluate the environmental performance and sustainability of products and supply chain, ensure compliance with standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in production engineering, with a focus on both design and production
  • Proficiency in CAD software and production management tools
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control methods
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to engineering challenges
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
