Key Responsibilities

As a key member of the CH&CO Catering Group Ltd team, the Sous Chef will be responsible for directing food preparation and collaborating with the executive chef to ensure the highest quality dishes are produced.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Must be able to drive and have use of a vehicle
  • Have experience in fast-paced kitchen environments
  • Preferably experience in a pizza/pasta restaurant
  • Ability to oversee and supervise kitchen staff
  • Assist with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies
  • Ensure food quality and kitchen cleanliness
  • Offer suggestions and creative ideas to improve kitchen performance
  • Schedule staff shifts and train new employees
  • Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Solve problems and take control of issues in the kitchen
