About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Platform Engineer to join our team at Global Hedge Fund. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will design, deploy, and maintain high-performance computing environments for low-latency trading and data-intensive workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • High-Performance Computing: Develop and implement high-performance computing environments for mission-critical applications.
  • Automation and Scripting: Create automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, monitoring, and management of the infrastructure.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement and maintain monitoring systems to track infrastructure performance and troubleshoot system issues proactively.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the Linux environment is secure by implementing best practices for patching, access control, encryption, and auditing.
  • Hybrid Infrastructure Solutions: Design and manage hybrid infrastructure solutions, including on-premise data centers and cloud platforms.
Requirements
  • Deep Knowledge of Linux:** Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and ability to design, build, and manage high-performance environments.
  • Experience in Systems Engineering: Proven experience in designing, building, and managing mission-critical infrastructure.
  • IaC Tools and Containerization: Experience with IaC tools such as Chef, Terraform, Puppet or Ansible, and containerization technologies like Kubernetes.
  • Automation Frameworks and Network Technologies: Deep knowledge of automation frameworks, network technologies, including routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, and network protocols.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is **$160,000 - $240,000 per year**, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
