We are seeking an experienced SWP Analyst to join our team in Edinburgh or Wythall on a 6-month contract.

About the Role

This Senior Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) Analyst position plays a crucial role in supporting the development of a group-wide solution for SWP. You will work closely with the Head of SWP to ensure we have complete and accurate foundation data to drive skills and workforce planning insights, informing decision-making across our talent strategies.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with key HR and business stakeholders to undertake workforce data analysis, gathering updates to enhance and increase the accuracy of foundational data needed for SWP.
  • Coordinating and delivering relevant SWP data management, updates, and changes working with the HRBPs, People Technology & HR Operations teams.
  • Working with the Head of SWP to deliver workforce data analysis and insights in support of SWP rollout activity.
  • Providing ad-hoc data and analysis/project execution support where needed.
  • Supporting data integration activities in the implementation of the SWP tooling.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders involved in SWP data, analysis, and insights.

What We're Looking For

We require a highly skilled individual with:

  • At least 2 years of experience in delivering high-impact SWP/people data analysis and analytics in complex organisations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, demonstrating self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
  • A self-starting approach, results orientation, and ability to deliver practical, solution-driven outputs.
  • An organised, collaborative, and enthusiastic approach to the role, with a real passion for delighting customers.
  • Experience working with both quantitative and qualitative data sets, core analytical skills, and experience with advanced approaches desirable.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
  • Innovative thinking, curiosity, and ability to work autonomously and manage own workload.

Technical Requirements

The ideal candidate should be:

  • An advanced MS Excel user.
  • Experienced in Oracle HCM OTBI reporting, preferably.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Visier, OrgVue), Survey platforms (Peakon) is an advantage.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
