Job Title: Quality InspectorJob Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team in a specialist manufacturer of precision machined parts and components. The successful candidate will have a background in precision engineering and be able to measure parts and components to tight tolerances using manual measuring equipment and CMMs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality inspections of precision machined parts and components
  • Measure parts and components to tight tolerances using manual measuring equipment and CMMs
  • Work from engineering drawings to ensure accurate measurements
Requirements
  • Experience in precision engineering and quality inspection
  • Ability to operate CMMs (Aberlink preferred but not essential)
  • Experience with manual measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, gauges and calipers
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Working Environment
  • State-of-the-art subcontract machine shop
  • Busy, clean and tidy environment
