Waste Management Driver

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Driver/Loader to join our team at Veolia. As a key member of our collection crew, you will be responsible for collecting recycling, refuse, and green waste from domestic properties in Bridgnorth and Craven Arms areas.
Key Responsibilities- Collecting and loading waste from domestic properties
- Driving and operating a HGV vehicle safely and efficiently
- Conducting vehicle defect checks and reporting any issues
- Complying with traffic laws and legislation, including load security and weight
- Accurately recording work completed using an onboard tablet device
- Assisting other collection crews as needed
- Class 2 HGV licence
- Up-to-date CPC
- Digi/Tachograph card
- Ability to work a mixed loading/driving role
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
- Previous experience in a public-facing role
- 21 days of annual leave (rising to 23 after 2 years' service)
