We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at Volvo Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality service to our customers, including efficient diagnosis and repair work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out repairs and maintenance on HGVs in accordance with manufacturer's procedures and safety standards.
- Assist in the fault diagnosis process and ensure that repairs are carried out in a safe and responsible manner.
- Work with the parts team to ensure the correct replacement parts are fitted to the vehicles.
- Road test vehicles when required and assist with roadside breakdowns.
- Ensure that service sheets are completed accurately and that all vehicle defects are reported to your workshop controller.
Requirements:
- HGV Technician qualification or equivalent experience.
- Completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry or equivalent experience.
- Experience within the commercial vehicle industry.
