About the Role
As a Product Development Specialist, you will be working with a cross-functional team to design and develop innovative waste management products, including recycling systems, waste bins, compactors, and other waste-handling equipment. Your primary focus will be on collaborating with manufacturing, product development, and environmental engineers to ensure that designs meet functional and environmental standards.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop cost-effective, durable, and sustainable waste management products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet functional and environmental standards.
- Use CAD software to create detailed 3D models and drawings of new waste management products.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs), specifications, and testing protocols.
- Continuously identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement to enhance performance and reduce environmental impact.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field such as engineering or design.
- 5 years of experience in product development or a related field.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is €35-45K per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including access to ongoing training and development opportunities, health insurance, and a generous pension scheme.
