Food and Beverage Assistant Opportunity

Meadow Bay Villages is seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages to customers, ensuring exceptional service and quality.
  • Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections, utilizing knowledge of our menu and beverage options.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and alcohol service regulations, protecting the health and well-being of our customers.
  • Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing a positive experience.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as required, supporting the success of our team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in bartending or a related hospitality setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
  • Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
