Your Role as an Order Picker
As an Order Picker at DCS Group, you will be responsible for accurately picking goods from inventory, safely palletizing products, and ensuring stability during transportation. You will also operate warehouse equipment in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurate Picking: Pick goods from inventory following instructions on scanners provided by our Warehouse Management System.
- Safe Palletizing: Stack goods on pallets in a safe and secure manner, minimizing stock damage by considering product packaging during handling and palletizing.
- Stability Assurance: Build and shrink-wrap products on pallets to ensure stability during transportation.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines.
Requirements
- PPT Training: You must be trained to use a PPT and hold a current license.
- Warehouse Experience: Previous experience working within a warehouse environment.
- Numerical Skills: Strong numerical ability to ensure accurate picking and handling.
- Team Focus: Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
