Investment Banking Analyst

CVX Ventures is seeking an exceptional Investment Banking Analyst to join our global investment team in London and Copenhagen. As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will be responsible for creating a continuous and high-quality deal flow, analyzing companies, markets, and industries to make investment decisions, and negotiating term sheets to secure the best investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and analyze business plans and markets to identify potential investment opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and other stakeholders in the venture capital ecosystem
  • Conduct due diligence on potential investments, including financial, market, and competitive analysis
  • Negotiate term sheets and ensure that CVX Ventures wins the best investment opportunities
  • Present investment opportunities to our investment committee and make recommendations
  • Run investment processes with our partners and close investment rounds
Requirements
  • Bachelor or master's degree with excellent results
  • 2-5 years of experience in venture capital, entrepreneurship, consulting, banking, or similar
  • EU work permit
  • Exceptional analytical and structured problem-solving skills
  • Passion for analyzing and investing in companies
  • Ability to sell yourself and CVX Ventures
  • Proactive approach and taking ownership of everything you do
