**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Family Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our residents, their families, and our staff to provide therapeutic interventions and support.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver therapeutic interventions for families to promote positive relationships and encourage families to spend time together outdoors.
- Engage with vulnerable young people and families to provide exciting and enjoyable ways to learn together.
- Create opportunities to support families to achieve their highest potential through family reengagement, therapeutic partnership working, and use of outdoor spaces.
- Work as part of a team to help transform outdoor learning spaces to suit individual family needs.
**Requirements:**
- Experience of supporting vulnerable young people.
- Commitment to Children's Rights.
- Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Social Care and the Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) in Caring for Children and Young People at Level 3 or above, or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
- Ability to apply for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a registered supervisor within the first three months of employment and to be registered as a registered supervisor with the SSSC within six months of employment.

These posts are regulated work with children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
