About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Swisslog. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated machinery and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automated machinery, including cranes, conveyors, vertical lifts, and monorail systems.
  • Work in a cold environment (-18 degrees) and at heights.
  • Undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and industry standard practices.
  • Prioritize system faults and ensure quality of output at all times.
  • Accurately record all work undertaken.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects.
  • Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
Requirements
  • An apprentice-trained Electrical or Mechanical Engineer or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with automated machinery is ideal, but training will be provided.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Experience working with a CMMS system.
