Real-Time C++ Application Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Real-Time C++ Application Specialist to join our team at Vertus Partners. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing high-performance, real-time applications for trading systems and analytics tools using modern C++ frameworks.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement real-time applications that meet the needs of traders, quantitative researchers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration with backend systems.
  • Optimize application performance and latency for live trading environments.
  • Develop tools to visualize large datasets and real-time market data.

Requirements:
  • Expertise in C++ with a focus on performance and memory management.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX frameworks such as Qt, STL, MFC, Wx Widgets, and Win32.
  • Proficiency in low-level optimization techniques for x86/64 architectures on both Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Experience with GCC toolchain and Red Hat environments.
  • Understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and real-time systems.
  • Knowledge of design patterns and software architecture principles.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
