Lead Learning in Science at KS3

We are seeking an exceptional Science teacher to join our team at Supply Desk. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education to students aged 11-18 and contributing to the development of the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and deliver engaging science lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
  2. Develop and implement effective strategies to promote student learning and engagement.
  3. Evaluate student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback.
  4. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters collaboration and creativity.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum initiatives.
Qualification and Requirements:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK with a relevant degree in Education or subject area.
  2. Proven experience teaching KS3 students with excellent academic outcomes.
  3. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  4. Excellent organizational and time management skills to plan and deliver effective lessons.
About the Role:
  • Estimated salary: £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
