About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead our teams in our service in Fernery House. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services to individuals with autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the outstanding care and management of all aspects of your respective services, ensuring individual outcomes are met for the people we support.
  • Maintain quality of service and strive to grow and develop the services, adapting to changing needs.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulation in relation to the day-to-day care of people accessing the service.
  • Assess, identify, and meet the needs of adults with autism through careful programme planning and behaviour support.
  • Manage an agreed budget to provide an efficient, viable service.
  • Supervise and manage staff performance and coordinate positive, collaborative liaison with external agencies, multi-disciplinary teams, and health professionals.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of working as a Registered Manager with either a learning disability or mental health background.
  • Desirable experience in the autism sector.
  • Excellent working knowledge of care standards and related legislation.
  • Accurate and detailed report writing skills.
  • Business and finance skills to ensure the service is run on a sound financial basis.
  • Qualifications and Education: A recognised social work qualification or a professional qualification relevant to working with adults at least at level 4, a qualification in management at least at level 4, at least two years' experience relevant to social care within the last five years, and at least two years' experience supervising and managing professional staff.
