Nursery Manager Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our nursery. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained, creating a safe and nurturing environment for young children.

The nursery offers day care for children from 3 months up to school age. Our focus is on learning through exploration and fun, teaching the child self-confidence and independence. We have a safe, completely enclosed outdoor play area for the children to enjoy and explore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement nursery policies and procedures
  • Supervise and support nursery staff, providing mentorship and guidance as needed
  • Manage the nursery budget and ensure financial sustainability
  • Oversee the admissions process and maintain strong relationships with parents
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
  • Foster a culture of inclusivity and diversity within the nursery environment
  • Collaborate with external agencies and organizations to enhance the nursery's offerings
  • Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and improvement within the nursery
