About the Role: As a Commercial Gas Engineer with Gov Facility Services Ltd, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial gas appliances, ensuring that they operate safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair commercial gas appliances, adhering to strict safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address maintenance needs, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on gas safety, equipment operation, and maintenance best practices.
  • Support the smooth running of our facilities, working collaboratively with various stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and effectively.

Your Qualifications and Experience: To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Two years of experience working in a role as a heating engineer, combustion engineer or equivalent;
- Relevant certifications, such as CCN1 - Core commercial gas safety certificate and relevant commercial units;
- Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills;
- Good health and safety knowledge, with a focus on compliance with industry regulations and company policies. The estimated salary for this role is around £41,818 per year, based on national averages for similar positions.
