Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team at Harding+ in Avonmouth. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will play a vital role in reducing losses and driving on-shelf availability across our onboard stores.

About the Role

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Stock Loss Improvement Plans, conducting regular stock loss reviews, and working closely with our inventory reconciliation team. You will also provide feedback and guidance to retail management teams, report compliance audit performance, and conduct investigations where required.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement Stock Loss Improvement Plans to drive targeted stock loss reductions.
  2. Conduct regular stock loss reviews with key stakeholders, including Onboard Teams, Buyers, Area Managers, and Account Directors.
  3. Work with the Inventory Reconciliation team to review relevant stock loss data.
  4. Provide specific feedback and guidance to retail management teams following onboard compliance audits.
  5. Report compliance audit performance to the Retail Operations team and conduct investigations where required.

Requirements
  • Experience in a retail environment would be highly advantageous, as would an understanding of cruise retail specifically.
  • An understanding of Stock Management and Profit and Loss systems would be desirable, as would experience with third-party stocktaking.
  • Process-driven with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communicator with a confident approach to driving results.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Can commit to regular national and international travel.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, bonus scheme, pension, 4 x life assurance, healthcare cash plan, and 25 days leave annually (including Christmas shutdown). The salary is negotiable based on experience.
