Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and support the planning of appropriate interventions and outcomes to ensure the needs of children and young people are met.
  • Consult meaningfully with children, young people, and their parents/carers to ensure that services are tailored to individual need, reliable, and sensitive.
  • Deliver planned interventions and act as Lead Professional where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and evaluate leisure opportunities for disabled children and young people.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience of delivering and evaluating leisure opportunities for disabled children and young people.
  • Experience of working with parents and carers of disabled children and young people.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
