About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our team at RGB Recruitment. As a Sub Agent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the smooth day-to-day running of a major Highways upgrade scheme in Cornwall.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of 12 to ensure the successful delivery of the project
  • Deliver schemes from inception to handover, ensuring projects are completed within budget, on time, and to client specifications
  • Contribute to day-to-day operations on site, including labour, plant, and materials allocation, temporary works, and health and safety
  • Liaise regularly with Site Agents, providing programme and progress reports
  • Supervise workers and subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out safely and to the required standards
  • Manage orders and deliveries of construction materials, and organize staff work schedules
  • Check work is carried out safely, and complete records for site reports
  • Attend site management meetings, and contribute to the planning and delivery of the project
Requirements
  • ONC/HNC/Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering
  • Previous experience in Civil Engineering projects, with a focus on infrastructure delivery
  • Supervising workers, subcontractors, and work activities
  • Awareness of Tool Box Talks, and the ability to deliver effectively to a diverse team
  • Personal Highways Safety, NRSWA Supervisor, SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and CSCS Managers card
