Job Description

Configuration Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Configuration Management Specialist to join our team at CBSbutler. As a key player in the Aerospace, Defence and Security industry, we require a professional with a strong understanding of Configuration Management principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the 5 key Configuration Management activities, including Planning, Identification, Change Control, Status Accounting, and Verification and Audit.
  • Work closely with our engineering delivery teams to ensure the Project dataset is maintained and configuration controlled.
  • Apply CM2 methodology and DEF STAN 05-57 guidelines to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Utilize Product Management Tools, such as Teamcenter version 13 (Unified) and SAP, to manage configuration data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve UK Security Clearance (SC) and access UK-Eyes-Only and ITAR material.

Requirements

  • Excellent understanding of Configuration Management principles and practices.
  • Experience in the delivery of Configuration Management activities, including Planning, Identification, Change Control, Status Accounting, and Verification and Audit.
  • Strong administration skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of CM2 methodology and DEF STAN 05-57 guidelines.
