Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Courier Specialist to join our team at Meriden Media. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out daily high volume parcel deliveries and collections around a designated area.

About the Role
  • You will be working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple delivery routes and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • As a key member of our logistics team, you will be required to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our customers.
Responsibilities
  1. Carry out daily parcel deliveries and collections within a designated area, utilizing your knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns to optimize routes.
  2. Ensure that all parcels are delivered to the correct address, handling any issues or concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
  3. Work collaboratively with other members of the logistics team to ensure seamless communication and effective delivery operations.
  4. Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in logistics and customer service.
What We Offer

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including:

  • A guaranteed minimum hourly rate of £12.50, increasing to £15.00 after 6 months
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • A supportive and dynamic work environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driving license and clean driving record
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with logistics software
