Butcher Position

We are seeking a highly skilled butcher to join our team at Approach Personnel Ltd. As a multi-species butcher, you will be responsible for working with beef, lamb, pork, and poultry in our busy client's facility based in the south of England.
Mainly skilled with beef, with a requirement to work on lamb, pork, and poultry from time to time during seasonal periods. Adequate English skills are necessary to meet the needs of client specialty orders from working sheets.
A skills test will be required prior to the offer of the position. You should have knowledge of health and safety in the workplace, and a food hygiene certificate is a plus but not a requirement.
Working hours are between 6:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with additional hours possible during increased production orders. Transport may be required to travel, or assistance in finding accommodation to relocate may be provided.
No sponsorship is available for this position; legal ability to work in the UK via share code or UK approved working visa is required.
The hourly rate is GBP 16.50 upon passing the test when employed, and GBP 20.00 per hour with proof of UTR self-employed number from HMRC.
This is a long-term contract that could lead to permanent employment for the suitable candidate.
