We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Co-Head Gardener to join our garden team at The Sharpham Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the planning and management of our gardens, ensuring they are well maintained and cared for.

• Manage and oversee the garden team, including horticultural trainees and volunteers
• Plan and implement gardening projects, including growing fruit and vegetables using organic methods
• Develop and maintain ornamental gardens, lawns, woodland, and orchards
• Lead groups in horticultural activities and provide training and guidance to staff and volunteers
• Collaborate with other teams to achieve the Trust's charitable objectives

• Proven experience in horticulture, including management and leadership roles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and flexibility
• Passion for sustainable food growing and gardening
