Role Overview

As a Dynamics Business Central Pre-Sales Consultant at Conspicuous, you will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective clients, gathering customer requirements and presenting tailored sales proposals. Your role involves showcasing Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and relevant third-party add-ons to demonstrate value for money. You will work closely with the sales team to meet targets and ensure client satisfaction through professional engagement and effective problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for new sales prospects, delivering a customer-focused approach.
  • Proposal Development: Gather client requirements and create relevant proposals using expert knowledge of Dynamics Business Central.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team to respond to proposals, tenders, and functional requirements within deadlines.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts tailored to client needs.
  • Business Case Development: Assist customers and prospects in building business cases and ROI proposals.
  • Sales Support: Technically qualify sales opportunities and provide input during sales meetings.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with Business Central developments and related technologies.
  • Travel: Attend customer and prospect sites across the UK as needed.
  • Time Management: Manage changing priorities using excellent time management skills.
  • Handover Process: Lead the Sales to Operations handover process for successful opportunities.
Person Specification
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, customer-focused, and solution-oriented.
  • Commercial Awareness: High commercial awareness of ERP and financial systems.
  • Microsoft Partner Experience: Microsoft partner experience is desirable.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in sales, target-driven environments, and Dynamics NAV/BC.
  • Accountancy Qualifications: Accountancy qualifications or public sector sales experience are desirable.
