Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, as well as contributing to the overall smooth operation of our care home.

The Role

This is a full-time position that involves working varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and administering medication
  • Assisting residents with daily activities, such as meal times, exercise programs, and social events
  • Contributing to the maintenance of a clean and safe environment within the care home
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with residents, their families, and other members of the care team

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Experience of working in a care setting, preferably with older adults or individuals with dementia

  • A flexible approach to working hours and days off
