As an Academic Clinical Lecturer (ACL), you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in respiratory or renal medicine. You will be working closely with experienced clinicians and researchers to conduct cutting-edge research and contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge. In addition to your research responsibilities, you will also be completing clinical training at North Bristol NHS trust or another appropriate trust and will be appointed at the appropriate point on the clinical lecturer scale. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong academic background, with a PhD or MD or equivalent. You will also need to have completed core clinical training or be otherwise eligible for higher specialist training in respiratory or renal medicine in the UK at ST3 level or above. A current National Training Number (NTN) is also required. The work pattern is 40 hours per week, and the post is an annually renewable contract for a period of up to 4 years or until CCT, whichever occurs first. A salary of £36,616 to £70,425 per annum is offered, along with opportunities for career development and progression.
