We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Counselling Psychologist to join our team in the Youth Custody Service. As a Senior Counselling Psychologist, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of Trainee Counselling Psychologists, providing expert psychological advice and guidance to support the development of a professional service.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise a team of Trainee Counselling Psychologists, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality psychological services.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the effectiveness of the Counselling Psychology Service, including the development of new programs and interventions.
- Provide expert psychological advice and guidance to support the development of a professional service, including the assessment and treatment of complex cases.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform the development of new programs and interventions, and to evaluate the effectiveness of existing services.
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement policies and procedures that support the delivery of high-quality psychological services.
- HCPC Registration as a Counselling Psychologist
- Chartered with the BPS
- Experience of working with adolescents involved in offending
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
