Plant Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Plant Engineer to join our team at Path Recruitment. As a Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance of construction plant equipment, powered access equipment, and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
  • Identify and rectify any issues with plant equipment, working closely with the hire desk and parts department as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Consult with the parts department to ensure your van is always stocked with the necessary tools and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Engineer, Mechanic, Powered Access Fitter, or Plant Fitter.
  • Strong knowledge of construction plant equipment, powered access equipment, and power tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
