Electrical Maintenance Specialist

Join our team at a leading manufacturer in Berkshire, where you'll work on a 3-month rolling contract with a minimum of 40 hours per week. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you'll be responsible for reactive and preventative maintenance, fault finding, and repairing electrical components on various machines. Your electrical engineering qualification and experience in industrial environments will be valuable assets in this role. You'll work on PLCs, electrical components, and equipment such as conveyors, cranes, and more. The benefits of this contract include Panama Shifts, including day and nights, and a competitive hourly rate of £35ph.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Reactive maintenance, including fault finding and replacing components on various machines.
  2. Preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
  3. Swapping components on equipment such as conveyors, cranes, and more.
  4. Electrical responsibilities, including fault finding on PLCs and various electrical components.
Requirements:
  1. Previous electrical and mechanical experience in an industrial environment.
  2. Electrical engineering qualification.
  3. Able to fault find and repair a wide range of electrical components.
  4. Experience with working on PLCs (Siemens S5 and S7).
