Director of Estates Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Estates to join our team at MET Recruitment UK LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation of an estate strategy, working in partnership with principals and facility staff in our academies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of academy properties, including upkeep, care, maintenance, security, health and safety, and facilities management.
  • Lead on and hold estates and FM responsibility across all areas of health and safety.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support the continuous development of each directorate.
  • Lead and hold responsibility for the estate directorates revenue and capital budgets.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in estate management and facilities management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to promote a collaborative ethos.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to support the continuous development of each directorate.
