About the Role

This exciting new opportunity as an SEN teaching assistant based in a vibrant school in Newark is now available. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated applicant who is keen to help SEN students.

The SEN teaching assistant role in Newark will be full time with potential to go permanent at the end. This long-term role involves providing tailored support to students with a wide range of needs, including autism spectrum disorder, social emotional and mental health issues.

Essential Experience:
  • Experience working with SEN students, specifically with ASD/ADHD.
  • Patience, empathy, and a caring approach to working with children who have complex needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to communicate with SEN students and parents.
  • Proactive and flexible attitude.
