About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate TB Community Nurse Specialist to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our TB Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients in their own homes and hospital clinics.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with patients, their families, and carers to provide personalized care and support.
  • Conduct TB screenings and provide education on prevention and treatment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and effective treatment outcomes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  • Provide mentorship and supervision to nursing students and junior staff.

Requirements

  • Registered Healthcare Professional with relevant qualifications and experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of up-to-date clinical practices and TB treatment guidelines.
  • Experience working with children and young people is desirable.
