Job Title: Clinical Specialist Radiographer

Location: London, The Harley Street Clinic

Job Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist Radiographer to join our MRI team at The Harley Street Clinic. As a Specialist Radiographer in MRI, you will provide high-quality diagnostic radiography services to our patients and contribute to the development of our MRI department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the MRI Superintendent with the running of the MRI service, maintaining high standards at all times
  • Perform complex unsupervised examinations, including cardiac MRI (stress perfusions and basic scans)
  • Work closely with radiologists and consultants to set up policies and protocols for all imaging and patient pathways
  • Identify improvements and oversee the implementation of such improvements as agreed with the line manager
  • Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties, ensuring verified radiologist reports are delivered in a timely manner
  • Assist with staff orientation and training

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration
  • Extensive MRI experience gained post-graduation, ideally in the UK
  • High level of understanding with regards to clinical governance and protocols relating to MRI
  • Minimum of 1 year Cardiac MRI experience
