Job Description

The Procurement Strategist will play a key role in driving the effectiveness of procurement and sourcing as a core strategic discipline within Avantus Aerospace Group's business.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience within the MRO / aftermarket and distribution sector, with sealing industry experience being desirable. A strong understanding of material specifications, drawing interpretation, and process capabilities is also required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating year-on-year cost savings through purchasing process improvements and cost reduction negotiations. This will involve developing planning models focused on material availability while reducing overall stock holding of the business.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
