Job Summary

This is a full-time, permanent position with hybrid working in Birmingham. As a Senior Surveyor/Associate Director, you will be responsible for managing your own workload and that of your direct reports to deliver all property management activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the transition of clients/properties in and out of CBRE management
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and take action or escalate any issues relating to non-compliance
  • Carry out property inspections and ensure that all necessary insurance valuations are undertaken
  • Raise accurate rent demands and ensure credit control targets are met for rent and service charge collections
  • Prepare data for client meetings and attend client meetings, ensuring recording of minutes and carrying out of actions arising
  • Review and obtain approval of service charge budgets and ensure all tenant application fee invoices are raised and paid promptly
  • Identify and progress opportunities for cross-selling activities and arrange and chair occupier meetings and occupier liaison meetings on a regular basis
  • Ensure recording of minutes of occupier meetings and 1-2-1 meetings are completed within 5 working days and carrying out all actions arising
  • Take appropriate action for all forthcoming diary/lease events and explore opportunities for new business generation

Requirements

  • Preferably RICS qualified and experienced in people management
  • Constantly updating knowledge of legislation relating to property management and able to build and maintain colleague and client relationships
  • Able to understand and grow knowledge of a client's investment objectives and recognise opportunities for selling additional services to clients
  • Able to use IT software such as Word, Excel and other databases and understand and use industry/CBRE specific IT applications
  • Able to contribute to team and department business plans and delegate, supervise and develop junior team members
  • Able to work as part of a team, supporting other team members and recognising the work of others and build and maintain relationships with other parts of the wider CBRE service lines
