Paint Specialist

Orion Electrotech Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Paint Technician to join their team. As a Paint Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and applying paint coatings on components and structures using spray guns and other specialized equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and apply paint coatings on components and structures using spray guns and other specialized equipment.
- Ensure high-quality finishes, adhering to strict industry standards and specific specifications.
- Inspect surfaces for cleanliness, smoothness, and defects before and after painting.
- Mix paints, primers, and other coatings to achieve desired colours, finishes, and consistency.
- Mask and protect areas not to be painted, including precision parts and sensitive equipment.
- Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and technical drawings to meet specific project requirements.
- Maintain spray booths, equipment, and tools in good working order, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
- Experience in paint spraying within the aviation, automotive, or manufacturing industries.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver precision work in a high-quality manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in the use of paint spray guns, pressure pots, and other paint application tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and specifications.
- Familiarity with various paint types (e.g., epoxy, polyurethane) and their proper application methods.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures, including the handling of chemicals and use of PPE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Compressed 4 day working week available
