We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Youth Justice Officer to join our team at HCRG Workforce Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people who are at risk of offending or have been involved in the youth justice system.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement intervention plans to reduce the risk of offending and re-offending among children and young people.
  2. Work in partnership with statutory and voluntary agencies to provide effective support and guidance to families and young people.
  3. Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify the needs of children and young people and develop tailored support plans.
  4. Provide training and support to colleagues and partner agencies to ensure effective practice and compliance with statutory requirements.

Requirements

  • A relevant professional or degree-level qualification in a field such as social work, youth justice, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working with children and young people in a youth justice or related setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work outside normal office hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
