About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and problem-solving individual to join our team as a Retrofit Programme Officer. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering our council's ambitious strategy for council housing retrofit, aiming to improve residents' lives with warmer, healthier homes that are affordable to run and well-adapted to a changing climate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop grant applications, working with various teams to ensure the viability of each application and to develop the resulting projects into delivery.
  • Be a key point of contact between teams, based in the strategic asset management team and working closely with project delivery functions to support and track the progress of retrofit across the council's social housing stock.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective retrofit strategies, ensuring alignment with the council's climate and ecology strategy.
