Project Manager - Airport Baggage Systems

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Searchability NS&D, working on a key aviation account. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a transformation programme at one of the UK's busiest airports, focusing on the baggage elements of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of the baggage elements of the project, including Hold Baggage Screening, Early Baggage Storage, and Check-in injects.
  • Lead a team of professionals to ensure the successful completion of the project.
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in baggage system design.
  • Strong background in managing projects with manufactured connected systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
