Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team at Luton Bennett. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic work to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Work with the team leader to prioritize and delegate tasks to ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and repair, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, gears, and bearings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
