Senior Staff Nurse

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Senior Staff Nurse to join our newly established Paediatric Hospital@Home service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to children with acute nursing needs in the community.
Main Responsibilities
- Work within a virtual ward model to develop bespoke care pathways for children requiring nursing care.
- Collaborate with Paediatricians and pharmacy colleagues to ensure seamless transfers home and provide high-quality nursing care according to treatment plans.
- Identify patients suitable for Hospital@Home and ensure rapid discharge from ED or the ward.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate care, reviewing re-admissions and identifying potential reasons for re-admission.

Requirements
- RSCN or RN (Child) qualification.
- Relevant first-level degree or master's in an appropriate subject or working towards.
- Recognised teaching/mentorship qualification.
- Excellent clinical nursing skills pertinent to the role.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload.
- Assertively manage situations which may be complex and involve conflict or crisis.
