Spire Specialist Care Centre in Solihull is seeking a skilled and compassionate Breast Link Healthcare Assistant to join their Oncology team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a clinical/oncology environment and possess basic numeracy and literacy skills.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with patients being investigated for or diagnosed with breast cancer, providing exceptional patient care and ensuring that all duties are carried out with the highest levels of dignity, respect, and compassion.

You will work closely with our Cancer Services team to deliver exemplary patient care, practice high standards of infection control, and undertake routine tasks related to patient health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing chaperone and support for Rapid Access clinics
  • Assisting Cancer Services team in delivering exemplary patient care
  • Monitoring clinical equipment and reporting any issues
  • Ensuring own actions support equality, diversity, and dignity of each individual
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical/oncology environment
  • Healthcare NVQ Level 2/3 (preferred but not essential)
  • A patient-focused approach and excellent communication skills
