Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Theatre Practitioner to join our team at Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital. As a Theatre Practitioner - Spinal / Orthopaedic, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced theatre environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care to patients undergoing spinal and orthopaedic procedures
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Supervise and support junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC)
  • Post-registration experience in spinal and orthopaedic theatre nursing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends
