About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Wellbeing Mentor to join our team at Ad Warrior. As a Wellbeing Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional and mental wellbeing of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an Emotional Available Adult (EAA) for our learners, providing mentoring and coaching to ensure vulnerable students have a high-quality experience in college.
  • Build solid working alliances to provide psychological safety to our learners.
  • Support students who present with mental health and wellbeing issues, including signposting or referral to support.
  • Develop relationships which allow learners to have access to an emotionally available adult and deliver Trauma Informed Practice.
  • Work closely with academic teaching staff to ensure the best opportunities are available for all of our learners to succeed.
Requirements
  • Experience within education, in a support, mentor or counselling role working with young adults.
  • A Level 2 Guidance/Counselling qualification and hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths (or be willing to undertake).
  • It would be advantageous to hold a Level 3 Safeguarding qualification also.
