About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Design Engineer to join our R&D department as a Technical Director. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of engineers and contribute to the development of new medical devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership to R&D teams to deliver new product development (NPD) projects from discovery to product launch.
  • Prepare technical files and design history files for regulatory submission.
  • Support regulatory affairs and quality activities to ensure products meet regulations.
  • Lead and support non-conformance reports (NCR) and corrective action and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives.
  • Provide line management to junior engineers.
Requirements
  • Medical device experience is essential for this role.
  • Experience designing electromechanical products is required.
  • Familiarity with key standards such as ISO is necessary.
  • Experience leading design teams and a strong project management background is essential.
  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks is highly desirable.
