Civil Litigation Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Civil Litigation Lawyer to join our team on a locum basis for a 3-month rolling contract. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Civil Litigation and at least one of the following areas:

  • Possessions
  • Injunctions
  • Judicial Review
  • Homelessness

The successful candidate will have the ability to provide professional legal advice on all aspects of Housing Litigation work and will be able to adapt well within the local authority. The role will involve office presence once a week and there may be the requirement to attend Court hearings in person.

The housing and litigation team is very friendly and supportive, and can offer some training where appropriate. Our client is happy to consider candidates from either a public sector or private practice background.

The role is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious team player to grow their experience in public sector housing litigation work. If you are a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, FILEX or equivalent, with a passion for litigation, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing professional legal advice on all aspects of Housing Litigation work
  • Assisting with Court hearings and proceedings
  • Working closely with the housing and litigation team to achieve goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in Civil Litigation
  • At least one of the following areas: Possessions, Injunctions, Judicial Review, Homelessness
  • Ability to provide professional legal advice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
